This study aimed to compare the transport of harvested fresh palm bunches from the collection point to the factory using truck and dump truck as convayance equipments.rnThis research using basic descriptive analytical method that focuses on solving problems, and survey methods that look directly to the location in order to obtain the facts, data and factual information.rnThe results show that the cost of transportation influenced by total cost, time, and distance haulage. These are used to calculate the cost of transport per km, transport cost per route, and transport cost per kg o fresh palm bunches. The survey results revealed that -as a means of harvest conveyance- dump truck modes of transport is more efficient and effective.
