ANALISIS VEGETASI TUMBUHAN BAWAH PADA TEGAKAN JATI DI KP2 UNGARAN analysis of understorey vegetation in teak stands in kp2 ungaran Orkin K T Soba Fakultas Kehutanan, Institut Pertanian”Stiper”, Yogyakarta, ABSTRACT Research on teak suda has been carried out a lot but the presence of understorey in teak stands has not been widely known, so there is a need for research on the analysis of understorey vegetation in teak stands, especially at KP2 Ungaran. This study aims to determine the composition of understorey, dominating species, diversity of understorey species and the volume of teak plants in KP2 Ungaran. This research was conducted at KP2 Ungaran, Lemah Bawah Village, Kec. Bawen, Kab. Semarang, Central Java. The study was conducted for 1 week, namely on November 20 to November 26, 2018. In this study the determination of sample plots was carried out using systematic sampling technique with a size of 1 x 1 for understorey. The parameters calculated in this study are the Important Value Index (INP), species diversity index (H). The results of this study indicate that there are 18 types of weeds that are under teak stands at KP2 Ungaran and there are 6 types of weeds which are most dominant, finger grass (Digitaria sanguinalis), reeds (Imperia cylindrica), bitter jakut (Axonopus compresus), kirinyu (Chromolaena odorata), dry grass (Iscaemum muticum), Chinese basil (Spigelia anthelmia). The level of diversity of understorey species of 1.86 shows that the diversity of understorey species in teak stands at KP2 Ungaran is being.
