<note>This experiment  was carried out to determine the effect of oil palm empty fruit bunch compost and palm oil mill effluent in improving the efficiency of fertilization in the pre nursery.The experiment was conducted by using a factorial design, arranged in a completely randomized design with five replications. The first factor  was the concentration of inorganic fertilizer (75%, 50%, 25% ), the second factors was dose of empty fruit bunhes compost (15%, 30%, 45% by volume), and the third factors was concentration of palm oil mill effluent  (20%, 40%, 60%).  used as a fertilizer control was 100% of inorganic fertilizer (standard garden). The results showed there was no significant interaction between these three factors and the real effect of each single factor on plant growth, unless there is a real interaction between inorganic fertilizer with palm oil mill effluent in trunk diameter. Similarly, the analysis also showed linear contrast all levels on a single factor is not significantly different from the control, except for the control with the application of palm oil mill effluent  20%. The application of 25% inorganic fertilizer and 20% of palm oil mill effluent produces the highest of  oil palm seedlings in the pre nursery.
